Product Description:
Golden Slab Sugar is a traditional sugar product from Southern China, particularly popular in Cantonese-speaking regions including Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, the Pearl River Delta, and Guangxi. It is made from either sugar syrup or refined white sugar, following the national industry standard QB/T 2685.
Unlike regular white or brown sugar, Golden Slab Sugar uniquely combines the sugarcane sweetness of brown sugar with the clean, mellow taste of rock sugar. Its appearance features a golden to brownish-red color with a waxy sheen and a distinctive three-layer cross-section – dense crystalline layers on the top and bottom, with a "sand line" of fine sugar crystals in the middle.
