Product Description:
Peking Duck Pastry is the classic traditional accompaniment to Beijing-style roast duck. Made from high-quality wheat flour through multiple processes including kneading, resting, rolling, and steaming, the pastry is paper-thin and translucent, yet remarkably soft, smooth, and chewy. It does not tear easily when wrapping fillings and offers a delicate, resilient texture. After steaming, the pastry becomes soft and moist – not dry or sticky – perfectly complementing the crispy skin and tender meat of Peking duck. It is an ideal choice for both home cooks and restaurants seeking an authentic Beijing duck dining experience.
Features:
Soft, Smooth, and Chewy – The pastry is tender and delicate, yet elastic and resilient, providing a satisfying chew without becoming mushy.
Paper-Thin & Translucent – Extremely thin with good light transmission, allowing the colors and textures of the fillings to show through.
Tear-Resistant & Non-Sticking – Strong gluten network ensures the pastry does not tear when wrapped with duck and sauce; individual sheets do not stick together, making them easy to separate.
Classic Pairing – Traditionally served with Peking duck, hoisin sauce, scallion strips, and cucumber sticks. Also excellent for wrapping shredded pork in Beijing sauce, spiced beef, or fresh vegetable strips.
Quick-Frozen Freshness – Advanced freezing technology preserves the fresh texture and quality for long-term storage.
Standardized Packaging – Keep frozen, steam directly – no thawing required. Suitable for home use, restaurant kitchens, and takeout meal services.
Applications: Home duck feasts, restaurant kitchens, takeout duck meal sets, banquet catering, wrap-style light meals, etc.
Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C (0°F) or below.
